woodwind quintet (2025)

I originally wrote this tune for brass quintet (see Hunting Tuna) for the bicentennial celebration of Stowe, Vermont. This new version, for woodwind quintet, shares the initial theme and meter but adds 16 measures comprising seventeen percent more notes plus several dozen modulations and compositional maneuvers I hadn’t yet discovered in 1994.
