Think of this piece as a musical reflection on the days when the LP record was first in vogue. Its themes are nostalgic, contemplative, even a tad melancholy, though the pace picks up for a lickety-split sprint to the finish line. Commissioned by the Texas Woman’s University/Brookhaven Flute Choir.
