B-flat clarinet, baritone sax, B-flat trumpet, marimba, harpsichord, piano (1997)

This blues in 9/8 time with traces of lavender (4/4 time) was written for the Somewhere East of Topeka recording. In my view, a subsequent performance is long overdue.
